A different kind of women's poker coaching
Many training programs teach everyone the same charts, formulas, and systems. Every player has her own personality, natural strengths, emotional patterns, learning style, and way of processing information.
Instead of turning every student into the same type of player, Joey helps each Angel understand and develop her own authentic poker identity.
The objective is not to make you play like Joey. It is to help you become the strongest, clearest, and most dangerous version of yourself.
You will learn to combine
- Strong poker fundamentals
- Mathematical decision-making
- Intuitive table awareness
- Range and frequency analysis
- Emotional control
- Player observation
- Tournament strategy
- Confidence under pressure
- Personalized player development
Home of champions — and repeat champions
Angels are not simply learning the game — they are producing results. Our community includes tournament champions, final-table competitors, national title winners, and repeat champions who have returned to the winner's circle more than once.
An Angel has captured the LIPS Women's National Championship, while others have earned victories, deep runs, final-table appearances, and breakthrough performances in women's events and open-field tournaments.
Winning once can be a great moment. Winning repeatedly demonstrates development, preparation, confidence, adaptability, and a game that continues to grow. We celebrate trophies — and we study the decisions, habits, and personal breakthroughs that make them possible.
Personalized player development
Joey takes the time to understand how each student thinks, where she feels confident, where uncertainty enters her game, and which adjustments create the greatest improvement. Rather than generic advice, students learn to recognize their specific leaks and sharpen their natural strengths.

A supportive, ego-free environment
Poker rooms can feel intimidating, particularly for newer women players entering competitive live events. Joey's Angels is a space where questions are welcomed, experiences are shared, and every student is treated with respect.
There is no embarrassment for not knowing a term, no pressure to pretend you understand something, and no ego-driven competition inside the group. Students learn together, celebrate each other's victories, and help each other recover from difficult sessions.
You can become a fierce competitor while remaining compassionate, intuitive, supportive, and completely yourself.
More than a poker class
A study group, coaching program, community, and personal-development experience. Angels are encouraged to:
- Discuss difficult hands
- Ask honest questions
- Share tournament experiences
- Study opponents and situations
- Examine emotional decisions
- Celebrate progress
- Support other women players
- Develop leadership and confidence
- Set meaningful poker goals
- Become ambassadors for the game
Poker provides constant lessons in patience, courage, discipline, observation, accountability, humility, and resilience. Those lessons extend far beyond the felt.

The Joey's Angels approach
We study the player, not just the cards
Two students can hold the same hand in the same seat and still need different coaching. One is playing too cautiously; another is forcing action. One understands the math but ignores her instincts; another has excellent instincts without the technical foundation to support them. We identify the adjustment you need.
We focus on decisions, not just results
A winning hand can be played poorly. A losing hand can be played brilliantly. Angels learn to evaluate the quality of their decisions rather than letting one river card, one bad beat, or one result define their performance.
We build repeatable success
The goal is not one lucky result. It is skills, habits, awareness, and confidence that produce strong decisions again and again. That commitment to repeatable growth is why this community includes repeat champions.
